  • 1.  Production management with dynamic inventory

    Working on a upgrade for a client and was showing the client how dynamic inventory issue works.

    We noted that some of the items on the work tickets would allows us to enter the amount directly in work ticket entry where others would not.  I tried it in the demo database and noticed the same thing.

    Suggestions as to what the difference might be?

    If the items are lot or serialized valuation method, you have to click on the distribution grid at the top of the lines in order to dynamically issue them. That is not very intuitive at all but that is likely what you are seeing.
