Aaron LaBounty was kind enough to answer me. For those of you who care, here's the deal:
I don't have any specific documentation on which integrated tasks do and don't consume a PM license, or how. I can tell you what I found in testing, which I'm sure will be consistent through the rest of the product. When working on a PO in Purchase Order Entry, without any linked work tickets, it will not consume a PM license, and you can link in a work ticket, which does not consume a PM license, because the PO wasn't linked to a work ticket when it was first accessed. If you then re-access that same PO, or enter a receipt against it, that will consume a PM license.
