@Douglas Luchansky - thanks for the info, I had also reached out to Darin and he replied about 5 minutes after you did (so 90 Minds is still the fastest best place for information!).
One thing I didn't realize is the Shop Floor users REQUIRE Mobility for Manufacturing and use an app instead of the Sage interface. I must have missed that part in all the presentations - I thought it was a limited access version of the Sage screen.
I believe the install and configuration of the Scanco programs on the server to run it will also be required. While I can see the benefits for some organizations it's definitely more complicated and costly than I thought.

The Shop Floor user will only allow the following basic transactions:
- Parts/Material Usage – Limitations are: You cannot add new items to the work ticket. You cannot do item substitutions.
- Labor Collection – Limitations are: You cannot change the activity code. You cannot track quantities completed (I think).
- Make to Stock Entries – Limitations are: You cannot record by-product completions
- Status Changes – Works the same as MFG 100
- Time Card (Payroll clock in/out) – Not available at all for the Shop Floor User
All of the things that aren't included in Shop Floor are available in MFG 100.

Does anyone know which parts of the Production Management module a Shop Floor user is entitled to run? I know they can do labor entries but for the life of me can't find anything that spells out which menu items they can run. Guess I should have taken better notes during those Production Management presentations...... Any help is appreciated.
