Standard Production Management will allow you to make a work ticket for a sales order from work ticket entry but not from sales order entry.  I think that was one of the "features" of PM Plus.  ScanForce also has an enhancement that provides the sales order to work ticket functionality in sales order entry.

So it sounds like neither Scanco nor Salesforce has a product that accomplishes a "true" tie between the work ticket and the sales order.  That's what I needed to eliminate them!  Thanks all!

@Susan Pawlowic there is no real tie between a PM work ticket that was generated from a button in SO Entry using PM Plus or ScanForce's version of the same thing.  The only product that is a true tie like that is Operations Management.  PM Plus and MTO products are just a convenient way to create a work ticket and it will reference the SO being made for as well as the SO line will reference the WT being made on.  But no real tie with these products because the completions still go into inventory.  You could just as well use IRP to generate work tickets instead of creating one-off work tickets from SO Entry.
