At the moment, customer in Sage100 Adv v2019 using Scanco JobOps...the MFG SERIAL NUMBER has a maximum of 20 characters...Customer needs to increase this. Kind of the same thing as extended lot/serial... has anyone worked something... doing a full enhancement by Scanco is TOO EXPENSIVE.. I thought about adding a UDF in the File with 50 character in the file and using that for printing...then on the original field just use the last 20 of the serial...hoping they don't duplicate at some point. Any other ideas????
