  • 1.  Production Management Import assist

    I am working on a new import job that would pull data into a completion record for Production Management. Version 2019.  Starting from scratch.  Added certain fields from table and created .txt file to match fields.  Received an error when trying to save the VI job (not while running job).

    Anyone been successful?

    There is a hot-fix for an error 52 in VI https://info.scanco.com/prod-mgmt-downloads

    I am curious about this one before I contact support (and not sure if that is Darin or Sage). I have a client in test phase v2019.2 Adv and got the same error Friday and I was able to find the kB article in Sage. When I go to the Scanco portal to download the hotfix it is in v6.10.2.0.0. When I installed PM initially I used v6.10.2.0.1 so I would assume that hotfix is already in it. Now I do not know if going forward I start at the beginning and install each hotfix and each revision from the beginning? I went ahead and installed the hotfix even though it was in an earlier revision waiting if this fixed it. What is everyone else doing?

    We have been installing the hotfix even though it is tagged for the 6.10.2.0.0 release and it does fix the issue.  Not sure why it's not included in the newer version but it should be.
