Am I the only one that thought Sage was going to release the source code for the current Production Management versions to the MD community on January 1, 2022? I swear Sage said that when they took ownership of the module they were going to open up the source code so the other MDs wouldn't have to keep working around it. I asked Linda Cade during the Development Roundtable and she said they weren't going to because it may contain "proprietary information". I doubt anyone cares to steal techniques from that code set and obviously Sage doesn't think much of it either because they are creating PM "2.0".
I also realize the MD community may not want to invest time updating their enhancements if PM 1.0 is going away. However we now have a list of clients who will be in a prolonged holding pattern waiting for the 2022 PU1 release (July 2022??) and the cost of an upgrade for the improvements and features they need. If Sage owns the code they should just release it and let the MD community decide their course of action.
Probably more rant than question but I feel better now having vented.
