Product Update 6. Any feed back on PU6? Have done a couple small systems with no apparent problems. I have a large one to do and thought it prudent to ask.

The only thing that caught me on one client was that customized sales order screens did not work right until I ran custom office update for screens.

Thanks for the reply. This client definitely has a lot of customized screens, so I will definitely update the screens.

PU 6 Update went well and did fix the Extended description issue we and Brett's client has experienced. I could find no mention of it in the Release Notes. We did have a call from a user whose Sales Order Entry Ship-To lookup no longer worked. I notices it was a custom under her login and STANDARD worked so I deleted and recreated and it works fine now. I went to the Lookup Conversion and ran that and it found some more. I did not realize Lookup Conversion should be run with Product Updates.

I just had a client comment on the ship to look up just an hour ago. They are on PU 6 also. I ran the ALE conversion just to see if that might be it and it fixed it for my login. However, when the client tried it, they still received a blank ALE. Am connecting tomorrow AM to see if running it under her log in resolves the issue.. I doubt if this client has any customer ALE's.

Jeff Run custom office screen update

The Custom Office screen update is a must. When I ran the lookup conversion the items that showed up were for other users and other lookups. I was assuming her lookup didn't show in the list because i had deleted and recreated it. If this person is using a custom lookup you might suggest they try STANDARD to see if it works. Perhaps there are customization combinations that don't convert properly.

What was the extended description issue?

@JimWoodhead, There was an issue with item description edits in Sales Order Entry. Edits would not hold unless the description field was either in the lower grid or the last position (far Right) in the upper grid. PU6 seems to have fixed it.

@JimWoodhead https://90minds-com.socialcast.com/messages/5921500 I'm waiting to hear if there's a way to get this resolution for PU5 - since the client has an Enhancement that isn't necessarily compatible with PU6.

We have a client that has ASI Service Center which is also not tested for PU6. The Client has BOM so it would be really nice to get it done.
