  • 1.  Processing Paypal Payments within Sage

    This may be a dumb question, so I apologize ahead of time if so, but... Is there any service out there right now that processes Paypal payments similar to the way that it's done for CC's? ANYTHING at all?

    Not a dumb question - I'm curious, too @Samantha Knigge.  I've asked around a few times and no one seems to have anything that really works too well.​

    Inside of Sage? Or on a website? I don't think there is anything in Sage because the PayPal payment engine requires you to log in, so that would require the order entry clerk to take the user/password, right? Or am I missing what you are saying?

    Thanks @Beth Bowers, I'm glad I'm not alone in wondering/not knowing. LOL
    Correct @Michelle Forsey, Ideally, it'd be linked to a payment type just like the CC stuff... They select Paypal as the payment type & communicates with PP the same way we communicate with the SPS/APS, etc. I know you can do it in QB.. We have a customer on an old system doing it from their archaic system... but no love in the Sage 100 world???​​
    Any developers want to get in on this? haha
