Printing pick sheet converted to 2013 from 4.5. Ext Desc not printing completely for client. Does not preview as complete. However, previews complete for me, same form. Grasping at straws, had her change the display on her monitor (a la first release of 940 form). Still not working. Any ideas?

is there a flag to print extended comments? Maybe this controls descriptions also.

@LeeGraham - THAT is the million dollar question. I login and run it and it works, they login and run it and it doesn't. No flag re ext desc - I actually have to make a formula to do it - and like I said - same form works for me and does not for them. You know, if it wasn't for Crystal, I would probably like the 2013 release.

Are you SURE it is the exact same form??????

Well, I made the client pinky swear AND the name of the form is her first name, so.... Then I had her pull it up in Crystal and send me a screen shot and sure enough - it's the right form.

Have you tried conecting up with them, on their workstation and running it?

ODBC restrictions?

@JeffSchwenk - the field is printing, just not all of it. @DianaLaughner - not yet. WIll do that tomorrow.

When you preview, is the same printer as the client displayed in the bottom left corner of the pick screen?

@DougHiggs - good question, although I'm not sure why it would make a diff. Will check tomorrow.

Oh, duh - I checked and it was the same printer.

@BethBowers - When printing Crystal reports, different printers can display the data differently. You might also take a look at the printer setup in the form to determine what printer is assigned to the form.

I have seen this as a result of Crystal. Did you add the new field ext descriptions before the upgrade? Does the field have can grow attributes?
