  • 1.  Printing Lot Numbers on a SO Invoice

    v2018.  Inventory valuation method is Lot.  Drop Ship Sales Orders and Purchase Orders. The end user would like to find a way to assign a lot number and print the lot numbers on the customer invoice.  I am looking for ideas.  One idea is to have a virtual warehouse "DS" and treat all purchases and sales as standard purchases and sales.

    We do that now with serialized inventory. Isn't the process basically the same? Maybe I'm overlooking something that's different with Lots?

    Sorry - I forgot to communicate the most important piece of information....   These are drop ship sales orders and purchase orders.  I am going to edit my post.

    We do the same as @Wayne Schulz, i.e. create a DS Warehouse and process as stocked inventory.​
