  • 1.  Printing conflict between Sage 100 v2020 workstation and Sage FAS50 v2010.1 single user version install on workstation?

Upgrading the client from 2017 to 2020 Standard.  One computer has FAS50 on it (installed locally, not on the network).  I'm concerned about installing 2020 wksetup because I don't want to break FAS printing.  Does anyone know if this version of FAS (vintage - 2010.1) uses Crystal for reporting and will therefore affect FAS printing?  I could install the Crystal patch on the workstation, but wondering if that would break Sage 100 printing (and may not resolve FAS printing if it breaks).

I don't know the specifics of that version but FAS generally uses Crystal.  However, it may be an OLD enough version of Crystal that there won't be a conflict.
If they want to be sure, they should move the old FAS50 o a VM where it can be on its own.

Crystal in FAS50 will break.  Not sure if the patch will help to print from FAS50 once Sage 100 workstation is installed.

Thanks for the responses.  They will move FAS processing to a different program.
