Can someone please tell me what to tell an IT company for printers to work in a remoteapp (published app) environment?  I have no idea what they did but one user said they renamed one printer - different from the name of the printer as on the Sage server.  I don't understand this at all.    They cannot physically print to a printer and I know its something screwy that their outside IT company did.  My day started off with them calling me asking for the Sage Admin password so they could upgrade Sage!!  Yeah, OK, let me give that to you and then you give me your Admin password for the server so that I can update stuff there.   Stay in your lane IT people!!

Time to go north for the 4th holiday and dangle your toes off the pier.  Just be careful of the northern pike!!!!!  I love IT firms because I get to work with the best and brightest.  I can't remember how many times they have told me that!!!!

Jane - Recently for a Sage 100 Premium v2020 system, where they changed from Citrix running on Server 2008 to 2 load-balanced RDS / Terminal Servers running Server 2002, I told the customer and their IT that based on their number of remote users, (like Jim said), TSPrint or an equivalent product that can manage redirected printers was required. IT liked it and implemented TSPrint because it means they didn't have to create a separate network printer on the server for every local printer and manage all that, and I had already told them redirected printing had to be disabled which they didn't like. Further to that end, here's some very nice suggestions from @George Khairallah on RemoteApp printing that's written in a way your IT company can understand.
