Print Blank AP checks with MICR My customer buys totally blank check stock. They quite often have to print manual checks for employees to take with them to fill in the vendor and amount of the check later. Currently they have a an old SBT program that will allow them to print the MICR, check number and necessary labels (Check date, Check Line for signature). Then they enter the Vendor, amount, check number later through Manual Check Entry. They are concerned that either the SBT program or the old computer running the program will die of old age. We can create a custom form to print just the MICR, Check number and necessary labels but is there a way to print the blank checks?

Have a client doing the same. Depending on how many checks they need, they create a manual check ($1.00) and use the ""blank"" form. They keep pressing ""Reprint"" until they have the number of blank checks they need. Then just delete the manual check.

You can print the whole enchilada using Crystal in Sage 100. You would need the MICR fonts and there are several free ones that would work. Search Socialcast for MICR and you should find reference to several.

if you install Aatrix eFiling, it will install a MICR font that you can use. What we do is copy the check form to a new form code named BLANK Check and then we took off the data fields so it only printed the check number and headers and MICR and signature line. Then print them via the Manual Check quick print as Kenny Daniel described above.
