Currently upgrading a customer from Premium 2019 to 2022 SP1. When testing the data, I received the error "unable to draw folder control". I installed the hot fix CM7100T that Sage provides. No longer getting the message but still cannot see the custom panels or UDF's. I ran the rebuild and update utilities in custom office. Sage Support suggested that I update to SP2 but due to the modifications this customer currently has SP1 is only supported. If I go under custom office, user defined field and table maintenance, I'm able to see all the panels and UDF's. Any one else had this issue? TIA

    Hi

If you create a "new" custom screen, under your user id and one company, for example, do you get the problem.

I seem to remember this was only on converted custom screens, so re-creating them might be an option...

@Jeff Fiddelman  I tried to add a new UDF to the panel and still unable to see it after I updated in custom office.

I have encountered this issue with PU1 and had to recreate the custom panel.

This may be too late for you if you have already rebuilt that custom panel, but if not, you can copy the panel from the prior version into you 2021 installation and then run the utility to update custom office panels to the current level. I just had to do that on a version 2021 install that I'm working on.

    • The custom panels failed to open, and I got an error when opening them.
    • I then installed the hotfix.
    • I copied the panel from the 2018 version.
    • I then ran the Update Custom Panels to Current version from Custom office Utilities Menu. (I only ran it for the panel that had the error in my case)
    • I was then able to access the screen and the panel and all UDF's were there.

@David Overholt  I will try this. Thank you for the suggestion.
