PR6SJK.SOA ""goes missing"". This is the second time this has occurred: v2013 Std. PR check register (& Direct Deposit Register) are printed; during the update, an Error 12 gets thrown. Sure enough, PR6 has vanished. I re-init PR6; the check register had updated. The Daily Transaction Register can then be updated. The client has 3 companies. This issue occurs only in one company, and it is the same company as last time. Server is 2012 and IT has no AV running on the server. The clients are running Sage as a remote app. Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Do they have multiple people doing data entry or is it possible they person accidentally have a error message the pr data entry in use. I remember this being an issue in that sage would clear the pr6 but couldn't recreate pr6 because there was a lock on the file.

overly aggressive Anti-virus can also cause this Sage clears and re-creates the file during update but anti-virus can have it locked same as Jim Woodhead says above.

@JimWoodhead, possibly. I'll recommend they have everyone out of PR when processing checks. I also noticed that about 3 seconds after the Error 12, there is an Error 78 PRWUBG Line 7320. No reference to this error in the KB. I imagine a side effect of the Error 12. Anything I should know about that error?
