Client is asking for a report/query that displays the PTO accrual appearing in employee maintenance.  The time off listing does not display it, the employee listing has a spot for it but only displays zeroes.  The rate field does not reside in the employee master.  Have looked at the usual suspects (PTO tables) to no avail.

Is there a bug in the employee listing?

    Thanks in advance.

It's not stored at the employee level, it's coming from the benefit schedule so you would need to query/report off of PR_TimeOff.M4T

To verify that go to your Time Off Maintenance & pick your code "P".  Change an accrual rate & verify that you see the new accrual rate in Employee Maintenance.  Now go see what tables changed in payroll & you'll see that only PR_TimeOff.M4T got changed.

    Thanks,

So company is using rate tables.  Benefit varies by number of months worked.  So are you saying that in addition to linking to this table, you also have to figure out the number of months worked and then pull the data from the appropriate table field?

What are your thoughts regarding the employee listing not pulling ANY accrual rate nor does the benefit listing show the accrual rate.  Bugs or WADS?

There's so much about the new payroll that's not conducive to report writing.  Had a request from a customer who wanted a report where they enter a date & it returns the employee pay rate as of that date.  Try doing that in Crystal with how they stored the employee pay rate changes & you'll soon determine the easiest way to fulfil that request is by pulling the amounts paid from PR check history & backing into the rate from that.

It's the same thing with the time off rates, yes I'm pretty sure if you're using a rate table you would have to determine the employee's "tier" within that table based on their employment date.

As far as the employee listing printing the accrual rates?  I'm running 2019.4 with PR 2.20.2 & I see rates, so maybe Sage broke that recently?
