P/R DTR .pdf is printing gibberish. Still working with the client to obtain further information, but am wondering if anyone else has come across this particular issue (couldn't locate any existing info in SC although I thought it was previously discussed). If preview the Payroll DTR in Payroll, it comes up fine, but if click Print, it opens in Adobe with all boxes/symbols/gibberish (attached). And when printing the DTR from the G/L Main menu, it opens in Adobe fine. It ""appears"" that the security feature in MAS for assigning a password is what's causing the .pdf to show gibberish, because when printing from G/L, no password is assigned - and when turn off the password option in P/R, it prints fine. MAS 200, 4.5 I believe this issue happens from all workstations. Not sure about the server yet. Unsure if we can re-create this issue at will. I couldn't re-create on my local 4.5 system. Unsure if this all the sudden started or if it's been happening for a while?

I believe the issue is happening on all workstations. Client said they uninstalled Reader and installed the latest version.

I have come across gibberish but only when the customer was emailing AR statements. Not sure we every fully resolved but my suspicion was something was occurring with the mail server - possible anti-virus related. The customer never had IT check that.

I've had two versions of something similar happen. One was resolved by changing the printer driver. The other was resolved by switching Acrobat reader programs. I think we went with Foxit Reader.

Updated info: - Yes, issue happening on all workstations. - Issue began after their 4.5 upgrade. - Issue can be created at-will on their system.

Me, too, @WayneSchulz. @RobertWood, we were considering trying Foxit so it sounds like it's worth a shot. Regarding changing the printer driver though, which printer? The one specified at the time of generating the .pdf?

It was when printing the PDF to the physical printer. The customer had updated to the latest HP printer driver for the printer.

I am still having this issue with a client on 4.5 using paperless oiffice for journals & registers. The output looks just like that in the payroll_dtr.jpg on this post. I tried changing the font to a different font like ""Arial"" as per another post but same issue. We have since run into another similar issue. Is there a defined fix for this? Older version of Adobe? Thoughts?
