Haven't converted yet, because not sure if it will affect any other companies (there are 59 in this installation). I had originally migrated from a copy of their old version. When I was searching the data files after encountering the conversion issue, I looked in their live data, not the copy, thinking the data were identical. In the copy, however, I found that PRE had the offending record and removed it. PRE in their live data had a Date Modified after the copy/migration (don't know what caused that to change). I also did data dumps to Excel of many of the other files Eric listed in their live data (as well as PR3 & PR_40), but did not find the "spaceCA" record anywhere else. I re-migrated, system files and all from live data, thinking that if PRE was "clean" in live data, I would get better results. I did not. I have a case open with Sage, waiting for a call-back, but at this point, I'm wondering if going ahead with the PR conversion and mapping the record to the CA tax group will change anything in any system file that could affect the other companies. Sage analyst didn't know. Thoughts?

Subject: PR conversion from 2017 to 2019 - where to find the bad record?
Thanks so much Eric, but I can't find that offending space in any of those files. I'm going to go ahead and convert the company and see if I can find it in the new version.

These are all the other files with STATECODE (except for data entry):
PRE, PRH, PRM, PRV, PRW, PR_09, PR_23

Can you see it and delete it in Tax Table Maintenance?
