  • 1.  PR 2.x upgrade - why is it necessary to purge direct deposit transactions in legacy PR?

One of the items on the Sage pre-upgrade checklist is to complete and purge all direct deposit transactions in the prior (legacy) version .  I get the complete part, but not the purge.  Are you all doing this as part of your upgrade procedure?  Wonder what the ramifications are if you don't purge.  Thoughts?

I've been purging all but the last one and I haven't had it bite me yet.

I have done several migrations and did NOT purge ANY DD transactions (now I need to look if the feature was active.  No one has brought any issue to my attention yet.  Knock on wood.  Why would you need to delete them?  One less bump in the journey??

I haven't purged, either, and haven't had any clients report an issue.
