  • 1.  PR 2.0 TAX PROFILE ASSIGNMENT

    Am I correct in determining the only way to assign a tax profile to an earnings code line for an employee is to have the tax profile needed assigned to the employee in Employee Maintenance, first?  It doesn't seem to let you pick a profile on the fly.  We have service companies that do work all over the state (in multiple states).  One company is up to 150 tax profiles.  Just want to make sure I am not overlooking something in setup.  That means applying every profile to every service employee.

    Turn on the option to Allow Multiple Tax Profiles in Data Entry on the Additional Tab in Payroll Setup Options.

    that is checked but it still doesn't allow me to pick a profile not already included in the employee taxes tab in maintenance.

    I believe the tax profiles DO have to be assigned to the employees first.
