  • 1.  Posting Date Field

    Had a recent upgrade note that the Posting Dates on Paperless were wonky.  I had to go back to an older version to confirm that this was the NEW field on Paperless Viewers.  Now I see that the converted records in my own system have wonky dates, too - my accounting date was 2015 but the Posting Date says 2005 (yeah, not using Paperless in 2005...).  Anyone else see that?

    I posted to Sage City and got a reply from Sage.  The conversion utility looks for the first matching Source Journal number.  So if you have clients who restart their source journal every year during period end, it will not always match.  Sage is looking at tweaking that formula to better match the right date.
