Posted this on the vendor external board also.. Another Sage product to bone up on??? Just received this note from a client. Has anyone heard of or had experience with this product???? Hi Jeff, I was researching business 2 business loans and came across this article on the Kabbage website. Since you're my Sage expert what do you know about this Sage product? Thanks Jeff. Have a great day. Today, we are very pleased to announce the launch of an additional platform partner Sage Small Business Loan, powered by Kabbage. This represents the first use of a third-party technology platform to deliver a fully branded lending product to small business customers. Through the partnership, Sage, a leading provider of business management and payments services, is now is leveraging the Kabbage data and technology platform to power their own small business loans to their customers. Our licensing platform gives our partners the ability to keep the customer experience consistent with their own brand, but leverages the Kabbage line of credit offer with the same consistent terms of Kabbage loans. Kabbage is the only company in financial services with a fully scalable technology and data platform that can be leveraged by any partner, in any sector, and any geography to power their lending needs. (Reminder: in March we launched a partnership with Kikka Capital for an upcoming small business lending solution in Australia). The Sage implementation demonstrates Kabbage's ability to extend its technology beyond financial services and into the payments vertical for a large global brand. With our emphasis on technology and fast deployment, we have been able to streamline the process to be able to build a new partner's platform in a matter of a couple days. Our goal is to rapidly expand this offering to enable other large brands to offer our industry-leading, automated-lending product to their customers. It's a partnership they announced a week or two ago. I think Sage probably gets a cut of whatever their customers apply for on the Kabbage site. I'm sure partners won't

I think it's more about Sage trying to look hip and young.

Probably costs Kabbage very little and helps them grow. I would assume like most internet startups they are about growth rates more than profitability.
