    post-installation failed to merge the tax table update - Trying to install 2012 TTU on a v4.4.8 install. The tables seem to be updated however. Error blows almost instantly. Nothing turns up in search of KB..........

    How DO you find this stuff. I guess less is more. I typed the exact error message. But then I didn't look at all 100 solutions. In any event, that didn't work either so I am back at the drawing board. Strange because the PU 8 installed without issue two weeks ago.

    I think I just typed ""post-installation failed to merge"" but even if you type ""post-installation failed to merge the tax table update"", it still shows up as #1 or #2 in the search results. Also, I typically don't specify an Application from the drop-down.
