  • 1.  Positive Pay

    I have a client on 2019, PU 3 that has been generating the positive pay file fine for months.  Starting a couple of weeks ago, the bank account number is masked out.  The have the GL PII information role enabled.  I have tried to uncheck and then recheck the role to see if it makes a difference, but is doesn't.  Any ideas on how to get the file to generate with the bank account number unencrypted?

    Check the values stored in GL_Bank.  There is a known issue with something (running Bank Rec?) causing the stored values to be overwritten with bad values.

    I am still working with Sage on this.  It manifests itself as ****1234 or totally blank.  Happens in AP or PR banks.
    I currently have a Bank Rec program and the positive pay program with some writes to a text file and I'm sending the text files to Sage.

    So it LITERALLY has those **** in there and you just need to type it in again.

    Hi Beth!
    I had this very issue today and you are absolutely correct.
    When I cleared the bank account number field in Bank Code maintenance and retyped it, obviously the ****** went away and displayed the entire bank code correctly and the Positive Pay export worked.
