Sage100 Advanced 2023. Positive Pay Export for US Bank errors when using Fixed File Format but works fine when selecting CSV. Error 47 Substring Reference out of String. Last file accessed BR_PositivePayDetail.M4T. Found nothing on the KB. Anyone doing a PP export with a Fixed File format that works? TIA

Make sure your PP fields are big enough to fit the data... and that there is no bad data in the table.  (String too long, number too big, bad date...).

Testing with ABC data is a good idea, to validate the settings work... if so, you know it's bad data somewhere.

See the attached export. You should be able to import it for testing.

I have a client using US Bank.  They export to a CSV without issue.  Is there a specific reason why fixed file format is required?  BTW, @Doug Higgs, I do not see any attached export on your thread

Whoopsidaisy.  It didn't upload because I get a message "Must be a supported file.  I am changing the extension from PPE to TXT.  Change it back after downloading. It should be attached to this post.

The issue was that when I switched from CSV to Fixed, the columns got all messed up. I re-entered the column info as needed and it worked. My mistake for not checking the detail screen. Thank you all. Jeff, I'm not sure why US Bank requires Fixed format. That's what I gave them, and it passed the testing phase.
