POS, specifically AccuPOS Our one active client on AccuPOS, was audited by the county of Santa Clara. They told them the scale was certified, but the software was not, and they have a month to resolve this. I contacted AccuPOS, and they have run up against this, but it is dealt with on a county by county basis. Is this just because it's California, or has anyone else encountered this?

What needs to be certified in the software? Have they taken a page from the Sage partner certification book and are usung this as a excuse to raise revenue???

I suspect they want to be sure you can't cook the POS books easily ?
