Trying to enter a Return of Goods...when I enter the PO number it pops out message XXXXXXX is not on file.  I go to PO Entry and it says it is completed.  I go to PO History Inquiry and the PO Number is there....where is it missing????  Couldn't find anything in Sage KB!!!!

Look at the PO number in DFDM. Make sure there are no funny characters at the end of the PO number. Usually means data corruption. I had the same but luckily it was only one or two PO’s which I fixed manually in DFDM.

    I looked at:
    PO_Header ....not found...it is completed
    PO_ReceiptHistoryHeader ... it is there...correct number
    PO_ReturnHeader ... file is empty

Any other files???/ Maybe I am missing...

PO_PurchaseOrderHistoryHeader and AP_InvoiceHistoryHeader are involved but only when using the Copy From button. It's definitely looking at PO_PurchaseOrderHeader. Might be corrupted in an odd way. Look at it thru DFDM and check for extra spaces or odd characters at the end of the PO Number (this can happen if it was imported or copy/pasted from Excel).

FYI…called Sage and to my surprise customer had 2 days to save completed POs. That was the reason. They will do a return with blank PO number. Thanks
