It appears that the report uses the receipt history files. If there is any corruption in these files you get bad results.
First thing I have noticed is a number of receiving history items that have no associated purchase order. They tended to be very old items in the history file and there appears to be a receipt of goods but no receipt of invoice. They do not appear on the regular purchases clearing report (I assume because the purchase order no longer exists in purchase order entry).
I used DFDM to clear the receipt of goods entry and that eliminated it from the report.
I'm currently in the process of reviewing other types of problems but I'm assuming that it will be a similar solution.

Glad I found this thread. I worked with the Purchases Clearing From History Report and cannot figure it out at all. I reinitialized all the PO files in ABC and started from scratch. Put in some POs for Dec 2020 and received goods without an invoice on later dates. The reports are incorrect for any as of date. I also don't know where it's getting its data from. Have you made any progress with this?
