Client wants to know what PM templates are best used for.  From my recollection of the WO module templates, you could create for template for the entire work order.  In reviewing the functionality of PM templates, it appears that they are for Work Ticket steps, not the complete Work Ticket.

Can anyone clarify?

Template is the routing but can also serve the legacy WO template function. 

You can have materials in a template even if you have BM and it is integrated. 

BM is not required with PM.
