    Hi Production Management / Work Order gurus.

    Production Management completion in transaction entry appears to allow the user to complete more than the quantity to make on the Work Ticket Header.

    Is there a setting that would limit completion to the quantity planned on the work ticket header?

    And was this the same in Work Order?

    The client wants to avoid overproduction due to tyops (typos)

    The short answer is NO, that is something that Work Order had as standard but did not get rolled up into PM.

    We have written a script for a couple of our clients that pops up a message like it did in work order.

    I did not write that script, but I can probably locate it if you are not comfortable scripting it on your own.
