    Please use 1MAS90 Urgent Support for new requests that are no confidential to 90 Minds. Please let me know if you are unable to see the group (I'm assuming that all group members can join but I may be wrong)

    Why would we not always use the open support groups? I'm trying to think of a reason a support request would be confidential. Taking that thought one step further... would there be a problem converting the current support groups into open groups since that's what everyone is used to already?

    I don't think technically we can do it - once we convert to external. There could be information that at some point someone does not want to share publicly or ask in on open group. Example: One of our 90 Minds members is meeting with a prospect. Maybe that member has no idea how many other VARS are also meeting/proposing and would like some second opinions that are also not broadcast to an open group. This use of private tech areas should be used sparingly but I believe it should continue. Full 90 Minds membership is an earned privilege and will be a strategic marketing tool for full members who use it properly.

    Certainly there are pros and cons to both options, opening it all up vs keeping two separate tech support groups. However, I think time will tell which one we use the most. And I am more comfortable still having the ""group"" available vs the ""world"". Gotten to trust everyone... :)

    Makes sense, Wayne / Deb. It seems that it will naturally evolve to the point that the public group is used more but we shall see...

    Yes sorry we decided instead of 1 that we'd use * as the prefix. We are only using a prefix so the groups sort better on the left (the external/tech groups to the top)

    Remember, you can click on 'groups directory' on the upper left. You may not currently be subscribed to all groups as they won't show up in the list on the left unless you are a member
