This is especially timely for anyone with Applianz customers. You my have seen that the founder of Applianz, Mark Janzen left to go work for Avalara. In his place former general manager of Applianz Technologies, Ryan Jennison, and Brandon Friesen, the president of Friesen Technology Services, LLC (manufacturer of Applianz products) created Corner Post Holdings, Inc. to acquire and grow Applianz's business. They have a ""unique"" marketing angle to Applianz where their website spotlights it as ""cloud in a box"" .... you know - like a PC or maybe more correctly like Citrix or Terminal Services...... There was also an outage for a period of time a few weeks back. While outages happen - even at pure cloud organizations - the entire reason someone would use Applianz seems a little unclear to me.
