That is a bummer - we try to capture all the schedules as best as we can and accommodate Sage's development team's schedules too.

We are adding to the 10/25 Roundtable a demo of Tax Rule Inquiry and Diane Coffman will highlight some year-end info. There will be a Special Roundtable Year-End Sage 100 likely the week after Thanksgiving.

Can we please breakout the NDA sessions from the ""Diane Coffman will highlight some year-end info"". I am not interested in an NDA session that threatens my membership if I reveal info to a customer. I'm not sure how I attend a mixed session where part of it appears to be a regular what's new. TIA

I agree with Wayne about the NDA crap...

In answer to Wayne's request, sorry, can't make that happen for you on this webinar. I'm sure Diane would answer any direct questions you have for her. Let me know if you need her contact info. We made an agreement with Sage to keep the information shared at these meetings confidential until Sage releases that info. If you want advance notice, that's the deal. It's not forever, just until it's released.

Sage follow-ups from today's event: @KevinMoyes question on UDFs for Steve Passmore - ""UDF's flowing to S/O Invoice UDF's is: The first sales order wins. What we call the primary sales order has its UDF's flowed to the invoice header. Sales Order detail UDF's will copy for all orders as each sales order detail line copies to an invoice detail line."" To all, here is Diane Coffman's slide deck with end of year info. Remember we will have another Sage Roundtable specific to Year-End held Nov. 29. That meeting will be open to 90 Minds members and their colleagues, and will also be recorded. As Diane put it, there wasn't enough time for todays' event to include all the year-end info. and somethings are still be finalized.

Hi Moira - Did I fall off the Turnip Truck (which would not be uncommon) or did I just miss the announcement that you have to have Gold Business Care, or Platinum Business Care with Sage in order to receive the Bank Feeds that were demoed last week? Attached is the Sage 100 vs Sage 100Cloud comparison - Page 4 shows the items that you can only get with Sage 100Cloud if you have Gold or Platinum Support. And one of those things is the Bank Feeds...

Yes, Diane answered that in the meeting - Bank Feeds version 2018 PU5 and up releasing in November of this year for subscription customers only. She didn't specify BC level.

I knew it was for Sage 100Cloud - I just didn't realize the client has to have Gold or Platinum Business Care in order to get it...

Diane's in development and does not know those exclusions, most likely. If Linda Cade was on the call she may have clarified it, but Linda missed this last roundtable.

I'm on the Product Advisory Board, which Linda Cade heads up - this is the first I've heard of it...sigh. Big sigh.

This started making the rounds 6-months(ish) ago. I think it was on a slide someone posted with an observation about requiring a higher level of BC to take advantage of some features. It hasn't gotten much attention because most of the features (including the release itself) continue to just be pushed back or disappear for a time only to reappear. I certainly hope should you get the chance to speak to a Sage executive that you explain how deceptive and unfair these policies are for our mutual customers. If you don't have that ability then I respectfully question why people continue to join what appear to be straw advisory councils.

@SueBennett - RE Advisory Board - What ever happened to the quick win fixes that they touted so much back in Vegas? These go far in keeping the commoners happy by showing a little progress. I have sent in numerous requests which I am told have been added to the ""list"" but what good is it if no one looks at the list. Reminds me of the partner session held at the last hour on the last day at Visions. I don't think Ericka ever took the flip chart back to CA.....

@Wayne.Schulz and @Jeff.Schwenk - we do indeed have the ability to speak up, and have done so several times since the re-inception of the Sage 100 Product Advisory Council. Several 90 Minds Members are on that Council, and many of us had resigned from the previous PAC as all we were was a committee where the folks running the Council could say ""The Sage 100 PAC approved this."" I resigned (as did several others) as none of us wanted to be associated with a group that was held to be responsible, but had absolutely no authority. Most of the resellers on the current Sage 100 PAC have been selling Sage 100 for decades. It isn't a coincidence that they grouped us together and put us on a retooled PAC. We do have influence, but the days of actually being able to make changes like we did in the 90's went out when Mr. Butler resigned. But - I will indeed write to Linda Cade and to Diane and voice my vehement disagreement that features like the bank feeds should not be associated with an increase in subscription dollars for ALL modules just to get that one feature. If more clients saw the value in calling Sage, it would be different. But most of our clients don't call Sage -they call us for support. It just isn't right that they're tying the automated bank fee feature to an increased cost across the board. Rant over.

@Moira.Goggin - Diane Coffman is on each and every PAC call. She hasn't missed one that I know of - so she might be unaware (and indeed Linda might be as well) that someone at Sage is tying the Sage 100 Bank Feeds to an additional cost for the bundles the Sage 100 product is now sold in - but I'll make sure they know, as a PAC member, that I really disagree with it!

I don't know (and you might @SueBennett) who decides the pricing, service, and feature levels offered on the Cloudy subscription releases vs. on premise. The Pay-and-Pray for software features worthy of an ever increasing subscription investment is a poor investment strategy for the end-user's business. Aggravating this by requiring an additional investment to a higher Business Care level is typical of Sage - they made a promise, (i.e., new features for subscription only customers), and we believed them.

    - Slipping ship date for next release (from a typical September to a ""Maybe Q1"" - Having any product on the Sage price list / endorsed solution and not being maintained at the Sage supported PU level I believe you're are also dealing with people in NA who are beloved representatives of the product but have absolutely no authority. You need to put your swim gear on and paddle over to Sage Group PLC to really see any action. This would also work better if you put a swim team together. I'd start at the Nick Goode level and continue to try to keep the dialogue continuing with the executive team. IMO you are wasting your time continuing the dialog with people who have no authority

BTW, just got the Sage 300 2019 recertification requirements. They did manage to get a 2019 version out already, but the What's New VIDEOS total about 15 minutes, and is basically global search and web screen query. Can't wait to try out the global search on my customer with the 200GB database... The recertification class/exam is only on the Sage CRM integration, which as of 2019 is only available to Sage 300 ""cloud"" customers, not perpetual. The class had about 50 minutes of video, and there was a 10 question exam which took less than 5 minutes.
