Please let me know your thoughts on opening up the technical only areas: MAS90 Tech Non urgent MAS90 Tech Urgent To new members who: A. We would not -pre-screen short of requiring them to be Sage partners/consultants B. We would not impose any competitive restrictions on who could join Think of it as a new support area. The old areas would no longer be used. The 90 Minds folks would mingle with the new folks in the new area which would be our prime MAS 90 support area. This would be fee based though the final costs can still be discussed - I'm thinking something along these lines: Typical under 5 consultant firm - $200-$250 per year recurring Larger multi-state and multi-consulting firm - $ 3,500 per year recurring (not applicable to existing 90 Minds members) -- this is mostly to guard against large multi-site firms wanting to lurk Vendors (selective) - $ 4,500 per year recurring Right now I'm just looking for a conceptual thumbs up or thumbs down as to whether to pursue mingling such a group with 90 Minds. The new people would have no access to other 90 Minds private areas -- though they would be able to get to our two main tech areas (which are the most active). We probably would move to Yammer and use the fees for a paid membership for everyone. Existing 90 Minds members would be on a separate fee schedule no matter their size - so DSD and Clients First wouldn't be impacted by the larger fees. Just let me know yes or no on the concept please

I opened a new message on this because some people were having trouble reading the other.

It should be a separate, third support area.

I think in order to provide value we need to have an active area. I can run a third support area without the group. What I'm asking is if the group is interested in combining with new members.

There are some things that members would share with the group Supportwise that they might not be willing to share with a bigger group that may include Bly. There's no telling what snarky remarks there may already be about Bly in those two sections.

I totally get that - and that's why I'm polling whether to pursue or drop the concept. I don't believe we can charge people for a support area that's only going to have some support stuff. I also think the idea of allowing competitors is too forward thinking for the group. Before I drop it I wanted everyone to have one last shot.
