Planning a 3.71 to 2018 upgrade. I believe the inventory utilities are only available for version 4.4/4.5, correct? I plan to take them to 2017 as the intermediate step (using the Bill Pfahnl method). When you upgrade clients, do you include any inventory utilities in your engagement, and if so, at what version?

I have not been unless something appears during an initial test migration. I tend to run an initial migration and rely on that to point out any problems. If a problem arises and it's going to take work to correct I'll explain to the customer along with any proposed costs. In most cases I seem to dodge big problems but I don't want to be on the hook for corruption. I'm most concerned about this with users who find me on the Internet and aren't completely forthcoming or knowledgeable about their history with Sage.

We do build in time for rebuilding keys in 3.71 for all the companies/modules but not the inventory utilities as a routine precaution.
