Phil McIntosh called me a few weeks ago wanting to know if we could open a group in SC for xTuple and/or Accumatica. He just asked me what the reaction is after today's call. Thoughts?

Brian Rice has also asked about Acumatica. I've always felt that if we can sustain the discussion and drive value for those Acumatica or xTuple only members - then I'm all for it. I think we need a core of probably 15 to 20 dedicated xTuple or Acumatica people before we'd see the discussion area take off. I'm just throwing out numbers but seems about the level we'd need to sustain light discussion. I'd rather not see us add in new groups (easy) that sit dormant or seldom used and then we have another segment of member that we have to worry about providing high quality opportunities for.

I talked about the 300 group not being very active but he thinks with more of us diversifying, it wouldn't be hard to get new participants in those groups. He thinks the Business of Consulting, etc. groups would be beneficial to those not Sage partners as well.

Not opposed if we can come up with a plan to add value to other products. Just opening a group probably won't work without a critical mass. Which becomes a catch 22 type situation. Maybe the way to look at it is beef up some of our general business groups which deal with business of consulting. Those would presumably apply to most.
