@Larry Bradford coincidentally, I just got this from Sage yesterday
Hi Kenny ,
I was following up on your case: Unable to display data from both GL_BankPIIWrk and PR_EmployeePIIWrk in Custom Report on Sage 100 2019
I found that the issue you has been resolved on Sage 100 version 2020 which is scheduled to be released on 3/18/2020.
It could not be applied to 2019 because the changes required the fix to be on a base version.
I will be changing the support case status to closed-resolved but feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I am really not sure. I never heard back from Sage. They said they would put me on the email list for when it was resolved. Nothing yet. I ended up hard-coding the Bank Account numbers into the Payroll report since I could not get them from GL_BANK. Thankfully customer only had 6 bank accounts between the 3 companies for this specific report.

They asked me to send them the report and have engineering review. It has something to do with adding the report to the custom menu. Sage will open up either the GL PII or the PR PII but not both. Moira, I did not try a sub report but I assume it would be the same because a sub report is not added to the menu.

OK, so upon further testing this is what I found out. If you add a report to the custom GL menu, it will print the encrypted bank info. If you add a report to the custom Payroll menu, it will print the Payroll encrypted data. My problem is that I need both. I have a Payroll report that sorts by Bank and uses both the PII info from Payroll and GL. I guess I need to call Sage Support...darn it

ODBC has full permissions. I think Sage encrypted those fields in the GL_Bank but forgot to provide a way to print them.

It's already selected. They can run Custom Payroll reports with no problem. It's only when I add the Bank Account Number from GL_Bank that the data is hidden.

I just read about this in the What's New document for v2019. There is a security event "Allow Viewing, Priting and Editing of Highly Sensitive PII".
