    Performing a test migration of a 4,05 modified system to 2014. This is Sage 100 Advanced though I don't have the app running and am running the 2014 version in ""standalone"" mode by starting pvxwin32 and ""run 'startup.m4p' I don't see anything in the task manager or any services running. I can't get by this. I do think the company is using a virtual server via VMWARE so it's possible that is somehow a cause. When I open task manager I see nothing at all (pvxwin, usual suspects) that appears related to Sage. Ideas?

    Check to make sure that Sage Exchange or Sage Update Advisor are not running.

    Looks like I'm not RDP to the server (thought I was) which explains most of this.
