We have a customer we're hosting with a cloud vendor we've used for years. This is Sage 100 Advanced 2016. We migrated to W2016 and a new version of their UI which uses proprietary printer manager to deal more efficiently with drives.
A current problem is printing pdf ONLY when it's from Sage: it is dog slow. Printing from Wordpad and other apps is perfectly fine.
Here is their note about this:
"The PDF plugin library that we used in the EazyApp Print Client was failing to render certain files and print jobs from Sage. The print jobs contained images and text that could not be rendered properly by the PDF plugin and therefore we had to develop a new method that was able to render the images and text properly."
Can anybody shed any light on some limitation in Sage 100's pdf plugin library affecting speed? News to me.
