  • 1.  PDF Drivers

    If i'm upgrading from version 2020 t version 2022 and not going live on 2022 for a couple of weeks, do I need to re-install the PDF converter on version 2020 after running the 2022 workstation setup?  What verison(s) did the PDF driver change?  I looked on the Sage KB and can't find anything.

    If you unable to get the question answered, try going back to 2020 and see if it still works.  If not, run the pl_advancedoptions_ui from the v2020 launcher.

    When the hotfix for new drivers came out it was for the following versions.

    ·         2019 through PU 5

    ·         2020 through PU 2

    ·         2021 PU 0

     

    Based on the if you have a newer PU on any of those versions (or if you installed the hotfix).  I think the new drivers would have been installed.

     

    I'm not sure if it is necessary to reinstall anything or not, but you might save some work and put the hotfix on if your 2020 install was PU2 or earlier.

    • Version 2018 should show Amyuni PDF Converter Version 5.0.0.9
    • Version 2019+ s/b 6.0.0.0

    If the proper version isn't installed, follow the instructions from this Sage article to remove the Sage PDF and Amyuni drivers and reinstall (I recommend always running Sage 100 "As Administrator" no matter what the instructions say)  using PL_AdvancedOptions_UI


    I think the "PDF Dance" where you had to worry about conflicts between drivers ends once the customer is at version 2019+
