  • 1.  PDF Converter - WIN 10 workstation, Sage 100 v2020

    I get so tired of these posts.!!!!!

    Client trying to install Sage 2020 ADV client to WIN 10 64 OS.  Everything is working except the PDF installation.  Issue is compounded by the super lockdown of security.  Have looked through several KB regarding regedit, lock files, etc.  No silver bullet as yet.

    Do the log file errors below ring a bell for anyone?  In my mind, writing is on the wall.  Just need to interpret it.

    I have one client that is in a similar situation with their system being locked up tight. I have to install everything as admin after they put their security products in bypass. They use Carbon Black. Scripts are being blocked and access to system C: drive folders (hidden ProgramData) are blocked.

    Issue resolved by finally getting the correct Local Admin permissions and access to the Sage folder on the server..

    Well done. The "Error Code 5 Access is denied" is the give-away of it being a permissions error.
