Sage 100

PC Charge v5.9.3 with Sage 100 Std v4.4.6, when it works it works, when it doesn't it is a PIA. Was loaded on XP machine due to supported OS, started having problems with machine last week could only boot in safe mode, got that booting corrected finally and decided to move PC Charge to more stable XP machine. PCC worked fine manually transmitting, all settings in Mas were correct, but would not pre-auth or post at end of day in Mas90, would just hang. Pointed it back to old XP machine and still wouldn't work (even though it had the day before). Last night moved to a Win7 computer (followed written procedures for doing this) and now am getting ""Not-captured no response"". Finding anything on verifone knowledge base is not working. Any one have a clue where to look next to resolve this.

first I have to agree PCC works when it works but if you have to move or touch it look out PIA is correct. if your getting a ""Not Captured"" my first look is at firewall where PC Charge is installed you have to make sure port 34149 is open. Since you mentioned windows 7 I would look at windows firewall on that machine and set an exception to allow inbound and outbound on that port. I'll look for the document I have used in the past if you need it

I double checked firewall and the port had not changed on any settings, just ip address. If I change port or IP at Mas90 it can't find PCC. it's strange, because it will communicate manually and in Mas I see the Authorize Now button.
