Payroll v2018 Conversion: Just an FYI for everyone who might not think of checking Department Security: If the user migrating does not have access to all departments, the conversion is a problem. Either Clear all department security or make sure user converting is in EVERY department before migrating. Otherwise, departments don't migrate if the user doing the conversion doesn't have security in those departments!!!

Interesting....

You would think, in doing test upgrades, clients (or the techs doing the conversion!) would note that Departments are missing...but it wasn't until we converted live data that we found a lot of missing employees! That's not good!
