  • 1.  Payroll Update - Payroll 2.20.0 or Payroll 2.20.1

    I have a client that is running SAGE 100 STD v2019 with PR v2.19.4.0.  They are experiencing the "XX is not numeric" issue when trying to renumber 3 employees to assign them to a different department. This issue is fixed by HOTFIX PR6018T.
    However the HOTFIX PR6018T is NOT compatible with PR v2.19.4.0.  So now I need to install an upgrade to Payroll.
    There are two download options on the Partner Portal, Payroll 2.20.0 or Payroll 2.20.1. Which one is safe to download and install at this time?

    I think they are both safe.  2.20.1 has the FFCRA tax rules in it.  I would go with the latest.  PR6018T should be included in either of those.

    Go with the latest and greatest!  Pressure is on Sage to keep that one up to date.

    Thank you @Jeff Schwenk, @Nancy Hanson for your replies. Over the weekend I installed the Payroll 2.20.1 update, converted the data files for companies with payroll and all payroll prior year backup company codes. Client was able to re-number certain employees and processed the payroll on Monday without issues. ​​
