  • 1.  Payroll update fails

    Client is on 2022, attempting to install PR 2.24.2.

    Fails with error 0x80020009 right after Next when selecting Destination folder.

    I manually ran regcom and it did NOT fail.

    For kicks, I tried rerunning the install for their current version of Payroll and it crapped out at the same place.

    Any ideas?

    Interesting that Option III references missing 64 bit DLL's.  Does this apply here?

    @Amber Prayfrock - didn't even think of that, but from what I can tell, the only AV they have (Webroot) says it's currently disabled on the server.  I'll double-check with IT on Monday to confirm.

    Is UAC disabled before installing?  Logged in as administrator?
