    Payroll Tiers - Does anyone know for sure if anything (like marking an employee as Terminated or Inactive) reduced the running payroll tier count? I understand that it's tracking the number of unique employee IDs that are run through payroll tax calc. Originally - back when tiers first came out - a tech had told me terminated employees aren't included but I can't find anything in writing that says if it actually removes them. I haven't been able to get Sage to give me the answer. Does anyone have first hand experience?

    I had a customer today where they showed 155 active employees and they received a warning from Sage that they were over their 150 employee tier. They had some terminated employees that were still active in the system so they were going to go in and terminate them. They were supposed to call if that didn't fix the issue and I haven't heard from them. So, I think terminating employees put them under their tier count.
