I know that when we need to create payroll custom reports we need to add the special PII file in report designer. Can this be done in an access database. Recently upgraded a client from legacy payroll and they need to run an access database query from payroll  and save to an Excel file. The old payroll tables need to be replaced with the new payroll tables but I'm worried that we may need to get that PII table added in order to generate data. When I look at the payroll tables from within Access, I don't see that PII table. How can I get that table into Access?

I spoke with some of my colleagues who informed me that the PII is a temp work table and probably can't be added to Access. Will an Access query to PR_Employee be blocked by the payroll enhanced security? I'm just wondering if this client may need to replace their Access query with a crystal report.

Not possible @John Kerr.  Unless the Crystal report is generated from the Sage menu, PII is not available.  Excel and Access are unable to grab the information as well.  As I posted on a thread earlier this week, @Dan Burleson has a work around for this.  I have it installed at three clients and my Access reports are humming right along.  If interested, send him an email.
