  • 1.  Payroll Pay History Tab

    I have done quite a few upgrades that have converted the old Payroll module to the new framework.  I still haven't seen what variable is the one that determines the number of years of history that we want to see on the NEW framework.  Some customers I upgrade and I see 3 years, other I see 15.  Where does the system get the variable to determine how many years to convert???  I would like for it to be ALL they have in the perpetual check history.

    Wasn't it the number of ACA years?  I always wonder, too, but I'm thinking I read that somewhere.

    I will verify…I did a test migration so I can redo it…THANKS

    That takes out of the picture migrating/converting the historical copies that lay around

    There is no ACA field in version 2017… I see number of years for efiling….could it be that??? I will try it

    It depends upon what the history was set to in payroll options before version 2019 came out.  When the new payroll was being discussed, Sage indicated to increase the years to retain history.  I believe 3 is the minimum # of years.
