Payroll non-graphical check form issue on MAS 90, 4.5.2.0. There's gotta be something silly I'm overlooking. For one employee who has lots of benefits, deductions, etc., it's flowing to a 3rd check page even though there's plenty of room on the 2nd page for the continued stub detail. And the stub detail on the 2nd check page is repeated on the 3rd check page. The # of stub lines specified has an impact on which lines are repeated between the 2nd and 3rd check pages. Tried different values in the Total Number of Lines in Grouping field, but no help although 13 is the max that will physically fit on the stub. And I also mucked around with all the other non-graphical form related settings, but nothing worked. Summarize Taxes on Check Stubs is enabled in P/R Setup Options. Tried disabling that, but no help. Rebuilt P/R sorts, no help. Graphical form works perfectly fine.

Is there a reason they aren't using graphical?

I have a client that prints non-graphical Payroll check in a Check-Stub-Stub format. They have a lot of deductions, but do not require a third form. Here is their form settings:

Looks similar, @MichaelMcDonald, although our Starting Line # for first Item is 004. Doesn't 024 start it pretty far down on the stub? Not using Dot Matrix. I think they just had the non-graphical form in place for a while now and there was never enough of a reason to change - til now it would seem. But I'd still like to know what's causing this.

Did you try a new fresh form code ? I tend to remember the lines per grouping as being an issue (though I think it's more on the AP non-graphical checks when they existed).

I switched them to graphical. I first tried a fresh new non-graphical form just to see if that worked, but it didn't.
